To spend time with Courtney and Blake is to be swept along in their easy
company, to sense their harmony and to get the feeling that they were always
going to find each other.

Six years ago they began the conversation which would become their friendship
and although they nurtured their fledgling relationship, six months later their
paths took divergent courses as they followed their own individual plans and
dreams. It was to be a time of going out into the world and forging a future for
themselves, Courtney working as a nanny in country England, and Blake
starting his trade as a carpenter. However, Blake travelled to England and
stayed close to Courtney for three months, during which time they enjoyed short
trips to Spain, Amsterdam, Brussels and spent time in London. He helped her
endure the tough job she had taken on and they supported each other while so
far away from home.

When Courtney returned to Australia she and Blake knew that being together
felt comfortable and right, and they began to talk about their dreams for a
shared future.

Much has happened since then. They have brought two beautiful children into
the world – Hudson and Olivia – and they have come to know the infinite love
shared by a mother and father when they see each other nurturing and caring for
their children. They have purchased their own home in Spring Farm where
they’ll raise their family.
