BENEDETTO & STEPHANIE

“To fall in love and to commit yourself to love means you should make your loved one the one thing you cherish the most.”
This beautiful quote sums up the relationship between  Benedetto and Stephanie. Today, family and friends, you have the privilege of sharing something very special with them….their declaration of love and commitment to each other. They have chosen a commitment ceremony because on the 12th August 2017 they officially marry in a catholic church in Benedetto’s hometown of Agira in Sicily, Italy. I can’t imagine anywhere more romantic! Benedetto and Stephanie first met on the 3rd January 2015 whilst on a night out in London.
He was instantly attracted to her infectious smile and beautiful eyes.  She was attracted to his good looks, his charming personality and his dancing skills. This first meeting was the beginning of their new journey together, filled with lifelong memories and experiences. On the 17th January they went on their first date to the Sky Garden Rooftop Bar in London. They may have been taking in the beautiful views of the city they love and call home, but from this moment they have never looked back.

Benedetto and Stephanie love to make each other laugh by dancing around the house, joking and of course tickling each other. guaranteed to create fun and laughter!! Commitment, and in Benedetto and Stephanie’s case, marriage means they will have a best friend forever, someone to rely on and someone who is by your side throughout the good times and bad. A declaration of love that is eternal.
Family is also another part of commitment and to Benedetto and Stephanie, It is everything. Being a family means you are a part of something wonderful. It means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life no matter what. Family includes the two of them, extended family and close friends, one unit working together as a team.
It is providing for each other and their future.  It is providing for their future children and preparing them for the future. As you can see they both have the same ideas on life, commitment and family so the next step was obvious….a proposal!! One weekend, Stephanie woke to a message from Benedetto. He had a surprise for her. A trip to Venice, a place she had always dreamt of visiting. They arrived and explored the city but heard it was to rain the next day so planned a gondola ride that afternoon in case they missed the opportunity.
Whilst on the gondola, under the Bridge of Sighs, Benedetto stood up, then knelt down on one knee and asked Stephanie to spend the rest of her life with him. She cried with excitement and of course happily accepted.
There is an old saying that says… if you kiss under the Bridge of Sighs, your love will last forever. The romance for these two just does not end!! This proposal is one of the most memorable moments in their relationship along with their many travels around the globe, moving in together and meeting each other’s families. I asked Benedetto and Stephanie what makes them so special to each other and why they want to spend their lives together. Benedetto wrote, Her sensibility and simplicity. They have a relationship that is reliable and honest in which they make decisions without contrast.
> Stephanie wrote, Everything. He is by my side every day and makes me his number one priority. He always put me first and never lets me forget how much he loves me. We have such an honest and truthful relationship making us extra special and reliable to one another.
Family and friends….you are all special to Benedetto and Stephanie. The new memories created here today are in the first chapter of their new journey and includes all of you. Make them as memorable as you can with hugs, kisses, words and a lifetime of love and support.
